available from Melville Park Studio in limited quantities. Price is $15
plus $1 shipping.
Jim Infantino: "Strawman" (Jim's first CD).
Vance Gilbert: "Face to Face" (Vance's first "folk" album.
Originally only on cassette, but I'll put it on CD).
Kerri Powers: "Sleepwalking Again" (Kerri's first album).
Thomas Keene: "Searching for Ward and June" (Thomas's first and
only album, for those with long memories)!
PROJECTS
So far a busy summer, with albums in
progress by singer/songwriter Bethel Steele, traditional style Irish
musician and singer/songwriter Liam Hart, Jake Kensinger of Two for the
Show fame, Mel Green of the Maple Street Project,and singer/songwriter
Raven Sadhaka. Also Fran Friedman's 4th children's CD; two previous
ones recorded here won Parent's Choice Gold awards.
And speaking of children's albums, the third CD for Brookline's Artbarn
Community Theater is also in the works.
The Folk Song Society
of
Greater Boston's 50th Anniversary Album is nearly done.
The Society promotes and preserves traditional American, English and
Celtic folk music (and contemporary music in the traditional style)
through monthly concerts by major artists of the genre, house
concerts, singing parties, an extensive library, and other
activities.
Additional recent
projects include mastering recent albums by Mike Delaney and Angela
Masciale, and, after a rather long hiatus, resumption of work on albums
by Kevin Griffin and ukelele enthusiast Davis Sweet.
